Eighty grams (80g) registration is mandatory for funding. This means that all applicants must submit a completed registration form and supporting documentation to the 80gga office in order to be considered for funding. The 80g office will review all applications and determine which ones meet the eligibility criteria. Funding is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important to submit your application as soon as possible. 80g deduction gives tax relief to NGOs.
